2014 was a great year for us with radio legend KPFK 90.7FM, Los Angeles. Did you know that KPFK his one of the most powerful FM stations in the Western US? Besides being powerful in wattage, it is known for the strength of its programming and we were honored to be invited into the studios twice in 2014.

We started the year with an interview with Sergio Mielniczenko of the influential Brazilian Hour. Sergio was a great host and we had a blast talking about our influences, what it’s like to be in South America, …

Then, in August, we were invited back for an in-studio performance and interview on Travel Tips for Aztlan, with stellar host Mark Torres. Mark is one of our favorite hosts, being on air with him is like hanging out with one of your coolest, smartest friends. Oh, and he thinks we should win a Grammy (ok by us)! The performance’s sound was recorded by the talented Manny and filmed and photographed by our friends Jesus Villa-Caratachea and Daniel Sprintanagoon. There are rumors of a possible live video of this session to be released at some point in the future….

Thanks, Mark, Sergio, Manny, Mariluz, and everyone at KPFK!
